GIRLS BOX
-
“Rep” is short for “Representative”, as in the teams that represent the club in competitions with other clubs. Our Rep teams are highly competitive travel teams with a large commitment expectation. SCMLA offers Rep programs in Box Lacrosse for Boys and Girls, Field Lacrosse, and Women’s Field Lacrosse. Players must be residentially bound to the club to play Rep or be able to provide a Release from their home center and proper documentation in order to play in St. Catharines.
In age divisions where there are enough players interested in Rep, a second Rep team (2 team) is also established. Rep teams are rated annually from “A” to “E” and participate in league play and provincials under the Ontario Lacrosse Association.

This age chart is for Girls Box Rep registration, and only for the 2025 season:

Ontario Lacrosse has residential boundary regulations that require players to play Rep in the next closest centre to their home address. Players don’t have to live in St. Catharines but they must be residentially bound to the club to play Rep. To check your next closest centre, complete the Where Do I Play? form on the Ontario Lacrosse website or contact our Registrar at registrar@scmla.ca
