BUILT ON A TRADITION OF EXCELLENCE

Since 1877, the St. Catharines Athletics have built a proud tradition of lacrosse excellence that continues to thrive today. Established as a senior field lacrosse club, the Athletics quickly became a force to be reckoned with.

During World War I, the Athletics began to develop a minor system, creating a foundation for success at all levels. Throughout the 1920s and 1930s, the club’s minor teams captured multiple Ontario championships, solidifying St. Catharines as a hotbed of lacrosse talent and competition.

Today, the Athletics are proud to offer a comprehensive lacrosse program for boys and girls, fostering skills, sportsmanship, and a passion for the game at every level.
